Summary of the Truly Agreed Version of the Bill

SB 1243 -- PUBLIC ADMINISTRATORS

This bill requires the public administrator of Jackson County,
who is serving as a conservator, to have pooled accounts audited
at least once a year by an independent certified public
accountant. The audit must review all receipts and
disbursements, and a certified public accountant must report to
the judge about each account. The bill defines "pooled account"
and specifies that a fiduciary may place funds into a pooled
